Robert Harvey Oshatz Architect have designed the small house design in West Linn, Oregon. Called Weiss Residence, the house was built by the architect along with his daughter and son-in-law. At the top of the stairs one finds the main upper level of the house filled with light and space.

Sea Ranch Residence – Wooden House by Turnbull Griffin Haesloop


The residential architecture is about absolutely clad in wood, located at the Sea Ranch on an infill lot, built in 1,030 square foot house and 550 square foot guest house to create a threshold in the larger landscape, moving from the contained space of the hedge row to the open space of the meadow. The house has an exotic and natural style both of the exterior and interior design, the master bedroom structure was pulled apart from the main house and linked with a deck to frame – and let the landscape and exterior living space take center stage on the site. The white painted walls form the major walls and by reserving the exposed wood and steel construction for the shaped walls and bays we could use the detailing to further reinforce the overall site and spatial experience of moving from hedgerow to meadow.
