Designed by Manuel Ribeiro, the Aveleda’s House is located in Braga, Portugal. Aveleda´s House is a villa designed to accommodate the light as a source of inner experience of housing. The basic idea of the project, parts from the concept of being located near by the old Roman city of “Bracara Augustae”, where the ancient Roman houses, the Domus, were built around an internal square.
The residence has a complex architecture plan and houses 4 bedrooms, a gym, two large bathrooms with an impressive design. Outside there is a giant pool, typical for this type of building. The interior design is modern, with contemporary furniture and interesting decorative items. [Read more...]

This new inspiration boutique hotel in Singapore by Ministry of Design. The white room, interior and the minimalist designs, called The Club, blend of sophisticated and comfortable design is at once distinctly local as it is cutting edge global. All rooms combine traditional colonial design inspired elements together with sleek modern detailing, attitude and creature comforts – creating a colonial chic aesthetic. Unique layouts together with tailored artwork in each room make each of the 22 rooms distinct. MOD designed the artwork and famed local artist Wynlyn Tan implemented them in the hotel. /via
