Minimalist Villa Berkel by Paul de Ruiter Architect


Architect Paul de Ruiter has designed the a small minimalist Villa Berkel. Villa Berkel was built on a site formerly occupied by a old bungalow, which later demolished and built with an entirely new building. To create and ensure openness and lightness to residents living in the open house is completely oriented toward the garden in the south. Each room leads directly to this garden, as all three of the four walls are glass. The spacious wooden terrace forms an outdoor room, partly covered by a wooden awning supported on steel brackets are tightened up, which gives the appearance of being floated.
