BMW Simple Concept video

The BMW Simple is 110 centimeters wide and its configuration for two people sitting one behind the other. Plus it boasts the dynamic driving style typical of a two-wheeler, allowing you to lean right into corners as desired.

‘Simple’ is meant as a first-letter mnemonic, standing for, ‘A sustainable and innovative mobility product for low energy consumption’. It is both lightweight and aerodynamic, helping it to be ultra-efficient. All that is needed to power this lightweight vehicle with a kerb weight of approx. 450 kilogram produces 50 grams of CO2 per 100 km.

Video: Audi Quattro vs TT RS

Here are some figures: the 1990 Audi Quattro is powered by a 5-cylinder 2260 cc turbo engine that develops 220 bhp and 228 lb.-ft. of torque. With this unit under its bonnet the Audi Quattro reaches a top speed of 143 mph and can accelerate to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. The new Audi TT Rs is powered by a 2.5 liter turbo engine with 335 bhp and 332 lb.-ft. of torque. The top speed of the Audi TT RS is 174 mph and the 0-60 mph acceleration takes 4.7 seconds.
